Gyan earned his B.Sc. in Geology and M.Tech. in Applied Geology at University of Saugor (now Dr. Harisingh Gour University), India, and started his career in two of India's most prolific districts: Kolar Gold Fields and the Khetri copper belt. Since 1966 he has lived in western Canada and has worked mainly in metals and coal exploration and development. Past affiliations are Scurry Rainbow Oil Ltd., Rayore Mines Ltd., Cadillac Explorations Ltd., Ballinderry Explorations Ltd., United Nations Development Programme and Crows Nest Resources Ltd. Ultimately he formed a consulting firm, Singhai Engineering International Ltd.
He played a pivotal role in several mineral discoveries and mine developments in British Columbia and Northwest Territories of Canada, Peru, Mexico, Colombia and India. He has worked in coal and all of the major metals, and in many Asian and Latin American countries. He is fluent in Spanish, Hindi, Bengali and other Indian languages. Gyan is a member of the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (CIM) and a Professional Engineer in British Columbia, Canada.
Andrew E. Nevin, Ph.D., P.Eng. - Director, President and CEO

Andrew was educated at St. Lawrence University, University of California at Berkeley, and University of Idaho. He previously worked with Phelps Dodge Corporation, Cannon-Hicks Associates Ltd., Nevin Sadlier-Brown Goodbrand Ltd., and in recent years as an independent consultant and developer.
He has 45 years of global experience as a geologist and exploration manager. He has contributed to discovery, development or augmenting of reserves of several mineral deposits around the world including copper, gold and silver mines in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, China and Colombia, and geothermal steam fields in Canada and Indonesia. He has consulted for many leading companies and governmental agencies and been on the boards of several junior Canadian companies. He is a Fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists, a member and past Director of the SME-AIME (Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration of the American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical and Petroleum Engineers), a Professional Engineer in British Columbia, Canada, and a Registered Geologist in Idaho, U.S.

Marco joined the board on October 30, 2009. He is CEO of Prometheus Immobilières S.à.r.l., a real estate development and consulting firm in Luxembourg. In 1995, he founded and developed VEDA Consult S.A., in Luxembourg, an advisory firm representing foreign companies in Europe. Marco started his career in 1978 as a Eurobond trader with Banque Générale du Luxembourg S.A. before joining Hypobank International S.A., where he was in charge of the bond markets and the new issuers. From 1985 to 1987, he managed the bond portfolio of the Compagnie Monégasque de Banque in Monaco, then joined Shearson Lehman Hutton in Monaco, as Vice-President, International. From 1987 to 1992, he was registered as a broker for stocks, options and bonds with the then New York Stock Exchange (NYSE Amex), for commodities, futures and options with the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) and for currencies, metals and options with the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME). From 1992 to 1995, he was a portfolio manager at Compagnie Financière Edmond de Rothschild in Monaco.
Herbert M. Brugh - Director

Herb earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Nebraska in 1961, with a major in economics and law and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from that University in 1963. He is a member of the Nebraska State Bar Association and admitted to practice before the Federal and State Courts there. From 1963 to 1983, he was a member of the firm of Barney & Carter in Lincoln, Nebraska, with extensive experience in legislation, litigation, corporate and business law. From 1983 through 1985, he was Senior Vice President of Resources International, with extensive work in merger and acquisitions. Since then Herb has been engaged in corporate and securities work, participating in numerous early stage companies, in North America and Western Europe. He is currently a director of Inspiration Mining Corporation, a TSX-listed company. Herb was elected to the board on October 30, 2009.
Henry N. McCarl, Ph.D., P.G. - Director

Henry is Professor Emeritus, School of Business, University of Alabama at Birmingham. He was educated in geology and mineral economics at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Pennsylvania State University. He has numerous honors including appointments as a Fulbright Senior Lecturer, a Visiting Fellow at Harvard University, and a Distinguished Member of the SME-AIME (Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration of the American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical and Petroleum Engineers), of which he has also been a Director. He is a Professional Geologist in Alabama and New Hampshire.
Henry has served as a consultant on mineral economics, marketing, business acquisitions, international trade and economic forecasting, and as an expert witness in court cases involving mineral properties.His clients have included Alabama Power Company (Southern Company); Moore McCormack Resources; El Paso Natural Gas; Energen; Vulcan Materials Company; Drummond Coal Co.; Southwestern Portland Cement Company; Gulf States Paper Corporation; Alabama Department of Transportation; U. S. Department of Commerce; U. S. Department of the Interior; U. S. Army Corps of Engineers; and U. S. Department of Energy.
Civic contributions: In 2004-5 Henry served a term as President General of the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution. SAR is a U.S. 501(c)3 historical and public service organisation with 26,000 members.
Harold Middleton - Director

Harold retired in 2003 after 27 years with the Government of British Columbia. His last assignment was as Senior Advisor on International and Trade Relations to the Ministry of Competition, Science and Enterprise. He also managed the Ministry's Incoming Mission program that saw more than 100 business and senior government delegations visit British Columbia annually. He has particular experience with the government's Asia Pacific Branch, and he has a network of government and industry colleagues in Canada and around the Pacific rim.
Before joining government service, he marketed chemicals on behalf of Shell Canada and Dow Chemical. He was born in Montreal and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Mount Allison University, New Brunswick, and a Certificate in Business Management from University of British Columbia.
Campbell H. Pearson - Director

Cam is a Chartered Accountant. He received his certification in Canada in 1971. He is currently registered with the British Columbia Institute Of Chartered Accountants. He has served as Chief Financial Officer and/or Director of various junior public mining companies since 1982, and he is Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Pebble Creek board. His responsibilities have included compliance with regulatory authorities and financial management. He was born in Vancouver and has spent his career working in Vancouver. He is a Director of CLICK, an inner city charity that raises funds for children’s activities. He is also President, Aaland Management Corporation, a financial management consulting firm. Cam is also a high-time private pilot who spends as much time as possible in the air.

Harold has worked as an accountant, manager and chief executive in the tunneling, construction and mining businesses in Canada and the U.S. for more than 40 years. He has worked with Mannix Ltd., Shaw Construction Company, Inland Dredging Company, Caledonia Resources Ltd., Great World Resources Ltd., and Panagold Placer Ltd.
In the mining sector, Harold was a senior member of the J.E.R. Wood group of companies that led aspects of acquisition, financing, exploration or commercial production of several mines in California, Colorado, British Columbia and Mexico.

Bernie has been a partner of Koffman Kalef LLP, Business Lawyers, since its inception in April 1993. He has acted as counsel for a wide variety of companies listed on the TSX, the former Canadian Venture Exchange (now the TSX-V), the American Stock Exchange and NASDAQ. His practice areas are focused on advising mining and technology companies in connection with corporate finance and corporate/commercial matters and international projects.
He has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree from the University of Guelph, a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Ottawa and a Master of Laws degree in International Commercial Law from McGill University and is a member of the Law Societies of British Columbia (since 1987) and Alberta (since 1981) and a member of the Canadian Bar Association.

(TSX-V: MJO), Chief Financial Officer and a director of First Lithium Resources (TSX-V: MCI), President of Verenex Capital Corp, a private investment company, and President of First India Resources Inc, a private company engaged in identifying mineral projects in India.
Vice Admiral Vijay S. Mathur (Ret'd.) - Senior Vice President, Adi Gold Mining Pvt. Ltd.

Vijay is in charge of administrative activities and compliance for Adi and its affiliated India companies, liaison with consultants and contractors, logistics and supply, human resource development and government relations.
He has over 40 years experience as an officer in the Indian Navy. His most recent posting was that of the Chief of Logistics from the year 2004 to 2006. His responsibilities included supply and logistic support to over 900 ships and establishments and over 50,000 personnel, across the country and globally deployed. He managed a logistics budget of over $ 30 billion.
In December 2004 during the Tsunami Disaster, as Chief of Logistics, he successfully coordinated the supply of relief materials by over 31 ships, 22 aircraft and 5,500 naval personnel in India, Sri Lanka, Seychelles and Indonesia. These relief operations across oceans brought International recognition to the Indian Navy.
For his career achievements in the field of Logistics and Human Resources Development, Vijay was awarded the Indian military’s highest non-gallantry award, the Param Vishist Seva Medal, for his distinguished service, strategic vision, planning, and bringing about efficacies in procurement, inventory and supply chain management. Vijay had previously received the second and third highest awards for distinguished service – the Ati Vishist Seva Medal and the Vishist Seva Medal.
William (Bill) A. Sheppard, Ph.D., P.Geo. - Vice President, Exploration

Bill joined the Company on April 1, 2010 and will be in Askot much of the time. He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland where he earned his B.A. (Hons) in Geology in 1976 and his Ph.D. on the Avoca Mines in 1981. He went on to work in Australia for a long period, becoming an Australian citizen as well as Irish. He has extensive experience in many types of ore deposits including VMS (volcanogenic massive sulphide) types. He has played key roles in successful exploration at Mt. Isa, Dugald River and many other properties in Australia, Saudi Arabia, Europe, Africa and Asia.
Bill was previously employed by Rio Tinto, CRA, MIM and CSA, and consults internationally through his company LiaMin Consulting. He developed the Mineral Deposit Anatomy (MDA) technique to relate geology to resource interpretation and evaluation. He is a Qualified Person under National Instrument 43-101. He is a fellow or member of AusIMM, IMMM, Institute of Geologists of Ireland (IGI), Irish Association for Economic Geology (IAEG) and a European Geologist (Eur Geol).
