Our business and our core expertise is to find and explore mineral deposits, develop and operate mines, and sell the mineral products that people want and need.
We are focused on India.
For many decades India was closed to foreign and private-sector investment in mining gold, diamonds, copper, nickel, zinc, platinum and certain other metals. We are among the first companies to acquire mineral rights in India since the mineral sector opened up in 1993.
Our principal project, Askot, is a known massive sulfide deposit. An independent 43-101 mineral resource estimate is 1.9 million tonnes of high-grade copper, zinc and lead, with some silver and gold. The deposits boundaries are not yet known and potential is many times larger.
We are steadily selecting and applying for mineral rights in other places for their commercial potential. The newest of these is an exciting group of potash applications in Rajasthan. Click here for more information on the potash prospect.
Our mission is to maximise our shareholder value, while honouring our responsibilities to employees, suppliers, customers, the community, and our air, water, plants, animals and land.
We are an industry leader and our Askot project might be the first new private-sector precious and base-metal mine to start in India in many decades.
